PROBLEM
QSON Tech was a well established company in the material testing sector that struggled to compete with leading global software providers due to a poorly designed interface. The legacy software was primarily engineer made, resulting in a fragmented workflow that was difficult for users to navigate and trust. This lack of professional UX design hindered their market growth and prevented them from establishing themselves as a promising and trustworthy brand in a highly technical and competitive industry.
SOLUTION
The solution involved a total identity revamp and a strategic redesign of the software ecosystem to ensure efficient use of the platform. We developed a robust Information Architecture that organized complex testing modules, including calibration, results data stores, and rapid tests into a streamlined user flow. By utilizing tools like Adobe Xd and Photoshop, we created a professional, dark themed interface that combined a modern aesthetic with highly functional dashboards, making the software ready for global industry standards.
VALUE DELIVERED
The redesign delivered immense value by transforming a technical tool into a competitive market asset that improved user efficiency and brand perception. By creating a trustworthy and promising brand identity, the project enabled QSON Tech to stand as a direct competitor to European software leaders. The new interface significantly reduced cognitive load for industrial users, while the specialized hardware plugins integration ensured that the software was not only visually superior but also functionally optimized for real time material testing.

SUMMARY
In essence, this case study highlights the critical role of UX in the industrial manufacturing sector. By conducting deep research and maintaining close client interaction, the project successfully translated technical engineering requirements into a user centric digital experience. The final product achieved a perfect balance between complex data visualization and operational simplicity, ensuring the software worked more efficiently for the end users while elevating the company’s global standing.
